Rahm is a beautiful boy who’s fun loving and affectionate. He loves life and everything’s an adventure. He adores people and other dogs and he doesn’t go near the cats.  Rahm enjoys walks and is great on the lead.  Rahm really wants to please and is an extremely fast learner.  He loves to use his brain.  He is learning to be an inside/outside dog and his favourite time is when he can snuggle up to you or have a big yummy bone to chew on.

Rahm would like a family who wants him to be an important part of their active lives.  He would like to live with another dog and with older children who will show him the ropes.

PCC179 Border Collie female 8 years
Hard to know what to say about this girl. She was very distracted & didn’t have a lot of interest in me. She spent a lot of time exploring the run & eventually took the treats I offered her. She didn’t look at all scared, more indifferent. She was happy for me to pat her, but didn’t seek my attention. Hopefully I will be able to get her out again & spend more time with her. This beautiful girl was saved by another rescue group! Yay!

HCC206 Border Collie/kelpie male 18 months

Notes from pound contact : I couldn’t wait to get this boy out, every time I have walked past him, he has wriggled with affection. Once I got him out he was actually quite wary of his surroundings and hit the deck a few times on the way to & also in the run. His behaviour suggested he has possibly been hit. Safe with Rescue! Observation Notes: A quiet & shy boy who then came out for a look. After a minute of checking me out he decided to come to the front of the kennel for a closer look. Observation Notes: This boy was rather shy at first & didn’t want to come out of his cubbyhole. But, after a few minites, he ventured out to check his visitor. PCC176 – Gemma – cattle dog female 7 years
I don’t think anyone has had the heart to tell Gemma that she is not a lapdog . She spent her time in the run, either on my lap or on her back whining for me to scratch her belly. She is totally gorgeous, a touch on the timid side but incredibly trusting & one of the most people focussed dogs I have seen. Gemma was adopted from the pound!

HCC 67 Jazz Chipped & Desexed Kelpie blend female 6 years
We discovered Jazz is desexed (ear tattoo) during handling. Jazz is was strong on lead to the run, while she did respond to correction she will need some work on lead training. Jazz was happy to be handled & sat for a treat. Jazz appears to be a thoughtful worrier & at times was quite distracted. Friendly when meeting others in their pens. Jazz is in good condition & was well mannered during her time in the run. Jazz is safe with Rescue!

PCC224 Freckles Cattle x male 12 months
Freckles is a total smoocher. He is well mannered, has basic training, happy to be handled & has a lovely gentle mouth. Freckles showed beautiful body language when meeting others on the way to & from the run. He loves to play! He is stunning in looks & temperament. Freckles was adopted from the pound

Observation Notes: Listed as a ACD X although I’m guessing he is crossed with either Kelpie &/or Koolie due to his unique red colouring. This poor boy was found tied up at the front gate on Sunday morning. He is very timid & scared, the poor boy, & wouldn’t leave his cubbyhole. Nonetheless I felt there was a very good natured boy here. I’d dare say he’ll be back to his usual self given some TLC. I hope to see an improvement the next time I see him. Excuse all the photos as I want to give him the best chance possible in getting him a second chance. Safe with Koolie Rescue!
