This is a very striking looking dog, a Kelpie cross Wolfhound. She is quite obedient, has a little tartar on her teeth so could use a nice meaty bone or three but is in good body condition overall and seems to have no other health conditions. She has a good temperament with dogs and people. She appears to be approximately 4/5 years old and is already desexed. Animal Welfare League (AWL) have taken this girl for rehoming.

One of our beautiful Senior female dogs is OAKEY .. she was found tied to the fence with a note tied to collar .. just her name was written on it.

You wouldn’t think a 3 legged boy would be up to wandering far from home would you? He was only impounded yesterday so hopefully his owners come to claim him soon. Gone from pound website.

Shaggy or pork cop as nicknamed by kennel staff has been surrendered by her owner so she is in urgent need of a new loving home.
Shaggy is very overweight and has a super friendly loving nature, a staff favourite
Comment from visitor to the pound – What can I say.. hugely overweight but FANTASTIC and BEAUTIFUL nature. Happy, bright and alert. Despite being a bit rickety on her legs she was eager to move around and say hello. Staff say she is friendly towards all dogs, both large and small. A staff favourite – who could resist such a darling girl.
PAWS has come to the rescue for this girl. She is now in foster care and on a diet and gradual exercise program.

Jam is in urgent need of a new home due to a family breakup where they cannot keep her anymore.

Note from volunteer – friendly girl, lovely nature. Likes to stand by your side and wait for whatever you want her to do. (I think she had some training before she came in) she reminds me of a typical sheep dog. Waiting for your command. When she runs to you, you think she is going to bowl you over but when she comes to you she instantly drops at your feet, she did this time and time again.
