Tyson heading off to his new life as a working dog.
Update 23/01/2011 – Tyson has been adopted by a family who are going to be working him on their sheep but he is also a very beloved new member of their family. They just adore him. Good luck in your new life Tyson. You deserve it!
Tyson would suit someone that wants to get out there and run or exercise daily he is a lovely tempered dog with people very bouncy and fun but still a real lover boy, loves to be touched and cuddled. He is extremely agile, he stands on two back feet effortlessly to peak over my side fence at the other dogs….looks like a meercat!! He would be great for any person wanting to do agility, film work, tricks or of course being on a farm and doing what he is naturally bred to do. He was a bit jumpy for my daughter (9) at first but he has settled down nicely now, probably not good for young kids or toddlers, he might still knock them over. I wouldn’t place him in a family with cats, his focus is too intense with them..I don’t think he would harm them but his interest at this stage would lead him to chase and harrass. He is a little shy with his food which I have been working on with him…he is extremely focused while training but needs to learn some skills when greeting or being around other dogs when out. He is fine with all of my dogs and loves to run and play with the pack, he engages with me as soon as I go outside too so he enjoys the company of people and other dogs. He will be a fabulous dog with a little training.
