Update 2/1/12: Apollo is on trial adoption at last!!
Loyalty and devotion are Apollo’s strongest attributes but he is also loving, settled and has excellent manners. He is housetrained and gets on well with people and kids, although has not been exposed to toddlers or younger. Riding in the car is a special favourite activity and he just loves his brisket bones to chew on.He knows how to sit and shake hands and adores getting his belly rubbed.
Apollo is not a barker but will let you know if someone arrives and once he knows you and trusts you he will love you forever.
Apollo would be best suited in a home without any other animals and he gets a bit scared of lightning and thunderstorms so would like to be inside where it’s safe and warm when there are storms about.
Although he is now 11 he is very fit and although he is not into chasing balls he loves to go walking or jogging even though he’s not as fast as he was in his prime.
If you are after a loyal companion who just wants to love you then he is your man.
Apollo is in boarding in Brisbane’s south and we desperately need a foster home without other dogs for him.
