BANJO – Male ACD X Approx 14 weeks – Coastal Paws Rescue, NSW

Banjo is quite possibly the easiest little puppy ever …..

Banjo is a great all rounder and would be fantastic for any family or even as a first dog.  He is a crowd pleaser and everywhere he goes,  he wins people over with his laid back attitude and personality.  He is a smart young boy for his age and knows what to do and when.  Banjo gets on well with other dogs and is very good on walks, particularly off lead, he heels and checks in all the time.  He is a boy who loves the water and likes to “paddle” in his water bowl.  Banjo is not a high energy boy and also loves a belly rub and cuddle.  He is toilet trained and responsive to basic commands.

Darcy – ACD, Adult – Male – Muswellbrook Pound NSW

By AWDRI_12 Posted in New South Wales (NSW), PTS :( /

Update 05/01/11: Sadly this boy became aggressive and staff sustained bites from him so he is no longer available. :(

Just arrived at the pound on Christmas Eve. This boy is a touch wary at first, not unusual for a cattledog, but quickly livens up once he knows you’re friendly.
He is somewhat excitable, rather playful, friendly, & willing to please.

Georgia – ACD X Female, 1-2 yo – Blacktown Pound #07679

By AWDRI_12 Posted in New South Wales (NSW) /

Who could resist this smiling face?

Note from volunteer – an attractive girl – love the patch over her eye. She’s bright and happy, and was so excited to get out. It must get a little cramped in that kennel with 3 sharing. She’s in with brindle girl #7498 and blue cattle dog #7445. This trio were bursting to get out, and once released in the big yard they just took off in different directions for a run, chase and then settled down to explore.

Note from volunteer – described as a cattle dog cross, she’s only small, a little bigger and bulkier than a Jack Russell, with a lovely soft personality, a little unsure at first. She was not at all barky, bouncy or demanding.

Note from k9angel – what a sweetheart. She is the gentlest little thing. Very placid and submissive natured. She adored Jack and was so well behaved. She didn’t jump about or carry on barking – she was quiet and patient and so affectionate.

Please complete our foster application if you can foster Georgia for us.
