Glee is an absolute sweetheart! She has been with her foster carer for 4 weeks and has already made incredible progress – she is toilet trained, crate trained, travels very well in the car, great with kids, cats and other dogs. She comes running at full speed when called and in the last few days has learned to sit, drop, crawl & beg. She is extremely playful and active and just loves to run. She was very timid when she arrived and can still get quite scared of new things, but is gaining confidence day by day. She absolutely loves other dogs and seems to gain a lot of confidence from them, so I think she would be happiest in a home with another dog. She will make the perfect family pet for an active family and she would also be great at dog sports (especially flyball). Whoever snaps her up will be very lucky!

Tom’s mum is a black and tan kelpie named Stella. Tom is one of 7 adorable, thriving pups that were born in our home and have had a great start to life. Stella (who was pregnant when she was rescued from the pound) has been a wonderful mother and has doted on the pups from the time they were born. Stella has a very sweet, gentle nature.

Tom has been very well socialised, having been handled by a variety of enthusiastic and adoring visitors (including gentle children) since he was born.

Diesel is a lovely natured, friendly boy who gets on well with other dogs and loves people although wary to begin with. He is a little nervous of men but displays no aggression so a gentle introduction is required for the men in his life and he will soon be coming to them for pats.

Diesel is house trained and a real gem of a boy.

Diesel is in foster care on the southwest side of Brisbane.

Smidge is a friendly, happy ACD x who is looking for his forever home. Rescued from Renbury Farm Animal Shelter in Sydney he is now in foster care in Melbourne, Vic.

Very shy on arrival and staff had reservations about her interactions with other dogs but has since come out of her shell.

Update 21/3:  Very, very sweet and loving, no longer shy. Seems good with other dogs. Stunning!

Update 5/4: Safe with Hunter Animal Rescue

Dora is a great happy-go-lucky girl in typical cattledog fashion. She is very friendly, playful, & just loves to have visitors who give her attention not to mention a chin scratch. Overall Dora is a sweetheart who just wants someone to please.

This girl is very affectionate & friendly. She loved getting a visitor & was a true sweetheart with me (maybe she knows I’ve got 3 kelpies already  :laugh: ). Above all she just wants someone to cuddle her & I’m sure she will repay that gesture of kindness a thousand times over. Excuse the photos as she is far more pretty in the flesh.

Penny is coming into foster care with AWDRI Friday 1st April pending going to her adoptive home.

Mack is a gorgeous natured boy rescued from Cairns pound. He adores people, gets on well with other dogs and so far has shown no aggression toward any scenario he has been placed in.

He has not been tested with cats or children but he loves going in the car, getting in the water at the beach and cuddling up to you.

Mack is in foster care in Cairns, Qld.
