Lexi and her siblings were rescued from a regional pound in NSW and Lexi is now in foster care in Brisbane’s southern suburbs. This is what Lexi’s carer had to say about her:

For such a little girl, Lexi has one BIG personality!! Initially coming across as shy, once she settles in and gets to know you she really warms up and her personality shines! Lexi will follow you everywhere, and is happy to sit and watch you do the house work. Lexi is starting to learn basic commands and is doing great with her toilet training. She loves to play with her canine foster brother and loves her toys. Lexi will make her future family very very happy!

Arrow is a super dog according to pound staff,  very good with other dogs, surrendered because her owners were moving. Lovely nature and affectionate.

Arrow is on the PTS list for Wed 23rd March. Please contact us urgently if you can foster her or give her a forever home.

This boy is a little unsure of where he is.. He knows sit and takes treats gently. He reacted well to the small fluffy in the run next to him and he was daunted by all the barking from the other dogs when I walked him to the run.. He is a stunning boy..

Andy is a ball nut, a lovable, energetic ball nut. He may be past his prime but try telling him that when he gets out in the yard and sees that ball flying through the air.
Andy loves cuddles and tummy rubs and is happiest when he can roll in the grass on his back knowing someone is going to throw his ball for him again.
Andy is looking for a forever home where he can get loved and adored as he deserves and yet he still has plenty of go in him and will run with you to the park where he will chase balls as long as you will throw them.

Andy would do best in a home where there are either no other dogs or a submissive one to keep him company.

Gyspey is a 4 year old shorthaired Border Collie. This is what Gypsey’s foster carer had to say about her:

Gypsey is very well behaved and has done training in Agility and Flyball. She is very intelligent and already has all the basics down pat. She would be best as an only dog or with another dog that isn’t obnoxious or in your face. She is a sweet lady that is great with kids/toddlers and cats and just LOVES to go for a walk. She has a squeaky toy fetish and will do anything to fit on your lap. She is a tall very athletically built girl, a body perfect for dog sports.

This is Max, an energetic young man who is looking for a new home, preferably with another canine companion. Max is great with people, young and old, and superb with other dogs. Since entering foster care he has learnt some manners and has settled down dramatically.
Although he loves running and chasing his ball – he loves one on one time and is a big smoocher!
He loves riding in the car, and on long trips he lets out a little whine when it’s time to go to the bathroom. (very cute!)

Max has been in foster care for about 5 months, which is a mystery as he has developed into such a wonderful dog. We would love him to go to his new forever home soon so he can settle down and begin his new life.

Adopted from the pound.

6/3 I spent some time with Stella this morning.. She is a happy girl, who knows sit, she was happy to be handled.. Stella did not test well with other dogs, the lab Sam was in the run next to her and she did not like him at all, also Roger (pound cat) walked past the run and Stella chased after him, so she is also not cat friendly.. MM
