This is Ada – A gorgeous young girl who has found herself without a home or family to love her.  She is very energetic and needs someone to teach her some boundaries.  At only 6mths of age she is playful and affectionate, yet will still need guidance and direction to assist her through her “teenage phase”.

Trish is a beautiful yellow kelpie girl we rescued from West Wyalong Pound.  She was in a dreadfully emaciated state and due to the kind donations of our Facebook followers, we were able to get her out and vetted and into Foster Care.  She has a kind nature, is great with other dogs and is currently also living with cats and horses.  She is incredibly loyal and would make the perfect family pet as she has no interest in working stock whatsoever.  She is quite an accomplished jumper however, so would need to be contained in a run or crate when unsupervised.

Trish found her forever home.

DOG_DETAILS: This girl didn’t like the camera one bit & kept her distance. Nonetheless she was otherwise friendly & was very good with other dogs as she had been playing with others in the exercise yard before I took her photos. Update 25/08: Sadie escaped from her carer’s yard and has been missing for a couple of weeks now. Please keep an eye out for her and contact us if you see her anywhere.

Willow is a beautiful Kelpie x girl approximately 12 months old who is currently in foster care in Townsville, QLD.

She is an energetic girl who requires alot of exercise. She is very toy and ball driven, especially the squeaky type. Extremely easy to train with food rewards and intelligent also. She is currently being fostered with 3 other dogs and has had some trouble settling in with other dogs, particularly around food. She has shown signs of dog aggression, however she can be left alone with others, although she would probably suit being the only dog. She is desexed, microchipped, vaccinated and wormed. Willow is very devoted and interested girl, and would probably do well as a working dog.

Mandi is desperate to get herself out of the pound.  If you can help her by way of a

Observation Notes: A quiet boy who was slightly shy of the camera.
Plus I don’t think he likes the pound environment overly much.
Nonetheless he is friendly, likes visitors, & is well behaved. He should be safe until after the Easter break, but will then need immediate attention.

This is Pearl, who has been in the shelter her for approx 3 weeks, she really needs a foster home, as she has pressure sores starting to appear from Concrete runs.

She is approx 20 months old, and had mastitis when she came in to the shelter. Owners abandoned her. She is basically a good girl, who just needs love. She is a Blue, not
black, and just the sweetest girl. She is currently located at Armidale pound and is looking for her forever home or is very desperate to find a foster home. Poor little mite is getting pressure sores from being on the concrete after being dumped by her owners.

1156 – Red Heeler x Male. Due Now Pet of the week – originally was due Tuesday 19/04 – now due 27/04
Good nature gets on well with others. Possibly the dog that was described as a heeler x corgi – very cute and well liked.

Described as a timid little boy who relaxes and trusts you fairly quickly (like after the first hug!). He just loves to soak up the attention. He’s a great little dog but timid. He displayed no aggression whatsoever. He has a short tail – assessor wasn’t sure if it’s been docked or if he’s a Stumpy Tail X.
