Willow loves water!, is great with older children, with younger children she tends to jump up to them unless there is an older child or adult with her. Loves belly rubs. Needs attention and a large yard. We took her to “natural balance” dog training and the trainer says she would make a fantastic working dog. Very cute!

Willow is a private rehoming due to her need for space and exercise that has become limited due to moving from a rural setting into suburbia.

Update 05/01: DeeDee is now in foster care in Victoria and available to adopt. Further temperament information will be available soon but so far she is friendly, energetic and sociable with her foster siblings and very interested in the horses on the property.

Pound Volunteer notes: This girl has obviously been so restricted in her kennel. She has so much energy to burn and so much love to give, that she tried to give it to me all at once. She pulled on the lead, probably for this reason. Once out in the large yard she was off running around and had a great time. Only then did she want lots of hugs and rubs. She loved to chase after the ball but not to pick it up and bring it back to me, that was my job LOL. Once she was able to release all that built up energy, she generally walked well on the lead, when she didn’t she responded well to correction. This young girl sits on command immediately when the treats come into sight.

This gorgeous boy (KASPER) is now available for adoption through AWDRI. He is currently being fostered in the Lower Blue Mountains and is an absolute delight. He is very obedient for such a young boy and would love a home with a family who is active. He is also great with other dogs and cats (who are used to dogs) and fantastic with children. One warning…you may be licked to death, because he’ll just love to show you how much you mean to him

this lovely girl is very sweet and has been well looked after, she is overweight and very friendly. SHe was not keen on the camera and barked a little, but once I put it away she was more than keen to come over for a treat and a pat. She has no chip and was found wandering. She is well behaved and staff are very fond of her.

River is a very friendly 5 month old pup (ACD X Koolie?) who loves cuddles from everyone. He is very well behaved with our 2 little children so would be an excellent family dog. River gets on really well with any dog that he has played with since we have had him. He is very smart and has good manners and with some more obedience training will be a very obedient dog. One of River’s eyes is dual colour. Very cute.

River is in foster care in the Melbourne area in Victoria.
