Update 5/2: Reggie was rehomed by his owner.
Reggie is full of life.. loves a pat..very fast on his feet when you call him back. Follows kids around the yard but like to be at his master feet. Will tell you about the weather. Not fan of fireworks. Lawn mower not a fan. Good bark on him, will tell you if people or snake is about. You will get to know his different barks but is all show.
Reggie is an urgent private rehoming due to financial hardship and his family are reluctantly surrendering him.

00208 – *DEAF* 4-6yo female ACD, Blacktown Pound NSW *Adopted from the pound*
Update 28/01:Adopted from the pound.
On PTS list 1/2.
Volunteer Notes: When I called this girl on the outside of her kennel, she didn’t react, she was lying on the ground asleep. I thought she might have been ill, I went into her kennel to check. She still didn’t react with the noise I made. I got the fright of my life when I touched her leg, her head quickly popped up off the ground. Once she seen me, she was up giving me lots of cuddles and snuggling into me. Her fur is so soft, you couldn’t help but want to pat her. This little girl is totally deaf, which is the answer to the lack of acknowledgement when I went into her kennel. She is the sweetest, loving, gentle girl. She was given a bath as she was so dirty and scratching madly. She rested half her body against me and thats how we did it. (lucky for aprons) She didn’t complain once. She sits on command when she is given hand signal,s as well as some treats. She likes to be by your side. She walks well on the lead.
Foster carer needed urgently for this lovely girl. Read the rest of this entry »

Update 23/01: Adopted from the pound!
On PTS list 24/1
RF NOTES | gorgeous friendly natured boy, in good condition, appears fine with dogs kenneled next to him
VOLUNTEER NOTES | What a very exciteable and friendly young man we have on our hands! He was almost overexcited to be out of his kennel – and his very basic obedience shows. Easy to correct though – he is super intelligent! He just loves people and wants to jump in your arms or wrestle on the grass with you…and wrestle…and wrestle. He also loves other pooches and just wants to play. His coat is fairly coarse which suggests he hasn’t had the best diet going, and although on the skinny side his skeletal frame isn’t showing – good quality food and he will be right in no time. A smiley young man he tells you how much he appreciates you paying him attention by giving you lots and lots of kisses! ADORE HIM! (AK 22/1)
Update 25/01: Cricket has been rescued by AWDRI and will be put through her vetting etc before flying to her adoptive home in Brisbane.
This little girl is a very quite girl who enjoys her human company, she is very affectionate. She appears to have Corgi legs and is very small for her age. She is very gentle in her approach to someone. She was a real joy to be in the yard with and would make a good companion and loyal friend.

He does rush in a little when he meets other dogs but is very friendly and appropriate once in there. He would be such a good mate and would really make you laugh.
