URGENT – on PTS list 10/1  Update  9/1 Gone home

VOLUNTEER NOTES | This quiet, shy but very loving young lass is surely being missed by her people – she is too well loved not to be…and I’m not just talking about the fact she is overweight But, I scanned her for over twenty minutes, and in all sorts of weird places…nadda…no chip On lead she is a dream to walk – she really enjoys her jaunts around the farm. With other doggies she is polite and friendly, but somewhat disinterested in them. In her kennel she can usually be found asleep on her bed, but the moment you stand in front of her kennel she jumps up to say hello. A no fuss sweetheart who deserves a second chance if her people don’t come for her. (AK 4/1)

Update 9/1: This girl was claimed by her owners.

This darling girl was on the PTS list at Hawkesbury but was spotted by our eagle eyed carer. At this stage not much is known about her personality or temperament but updates will come once she is in our care.

Update 6/1 – After returning from holidays Duke’s (actually Tip’s) owner discovered him missing and called the number on the poster the supporter had put up when she first found him. Tip is now happily home  :)

Duke is an energetic kelpie x who enjoys human company. He is approximately 3 years old.

Duke was found wandering and taken to the local pound by an AWDRI supporter. He served his time and due to the prospect of him being PTS the supporter adopted him directly. She cannot keep him long term though.

More temperament info to follow. He may be a worker but that will be tested shortly.

On PTS list today 29/12 Update 30/12 – After being held over this girl was adopted but then her original family came in to claim her – they had been looking everywhere. Happy ending

VOLUNTEER NOTES | What a quiet, placid, sweet girl she is. Absolutely no trouble at all inside the kennels – she doesn’t make a peep, but does enjoy the company of her neighbours. And if you walk on by she loves it when you pay her some attention. Although not that strong and bearable, she would benefit from some leashwork as it doesn’t appear she has any… but really she’s just that chill it’s not a big issue with her. Outside she was on alert as to the happenings around the farm and unless I miss my guess, just wanted to get to any other doggies she saw to have a bit of a play! She met the just impounded amstaffy boy and was all tail waggly and bumb wiggly, wanting a game. She loves her treats and ear scratches, and would love to spend as much time in your arms as you’ll allow. She’s a quiet achiever, but I know she will steal your heart if you took a chance on her. Update 31/12 – Gone home

Described as friendly – found with dog below

Found with other male kelpie – scared in pound environment. Younger than his friend.

This 2yr old boy is left at the pound and the owner will not come and collect so he is in trouble but
apart from that he is chipped and registered and is ready to go asap. He is a super friendly boy with people
and other dogs and handles the lead well. He looks like a miniature German shepherd. He only weighs around 15kgs
and abit smaller then a kelpie.

Observation Notes: This poor girl is scared of the pund environment as well as being camera shy. Nonetheless, when she is shown some kindness & attention, she will wag her tail & give you a friendly sniff. With some TLC I’m sure she’s a sweetheart.
