Volunteer notes: Blue heeler/kelpie/koolie x boy about 4 months old and loves the attention, he gets along well with people and loves the company of dogs. He handles the lead well and looking for rescue. This is the only pic I could get as he wont keep still on the lead for me to take a pic
Mina is a real smoocher. Loves other dogs and humans and is looking for a two legged friend to take her on lots of adventures.
She loves to be around people, will follow you everywhere and stay quite close, very alert of her surroundings.

This boy was found in the chute at the pound someone had dumped him. He is super friendly with people and other dogs, he handles the lead well and loves to run and play around using his never ending energy.

Ozi is a 10 year old purebred, chocolate kelpie. He desperately needs his own loving family as his world has been turned upside down when his family who had him since he was a pup could not take care of him any longer. His manners are impeccable, and he is gentle and affectionate. He would make the perfect family dog. Someone else has done all the hard world with this guy, he is a true gem. He is 10 going on 5 so he still needs daily walks and cuddles in the evening. He needs to be allowed inside with the family where he will curl up at your feet and sleep away the rest of his adult life. Shows no interested in cats when on the lead, but has not been tested off lead. Good with other dogs, children and people.

Sasha is being rehomed after a move into suburbia where she is constantly in an anxious state due to the noise of the traffic and large, noisy dogs on each side.
Sasha was rescued by her current family from a regional pound after she was allegedly abused by her last owner’s neighbour. As a result she is quite timid initially but has proved through bonding with her current adopter that she is very affectionate and has a good nature once the bond is established and is good with kids (a 4yr old and 6yr old) and is great with the family’s other dog. She doesn’t like loud noises and is wary of strangers and new people but has proven to be a great guard dog and a loyal companion! She doesnt seem too interested in playing ball or things like that but prefers close company and cuddles and playing with the family’s other dog. Her family is unsure what Sasha would be like with cats, perhaps after being acquainted she may be ok with them. She loves tummy scratches, cuddles, to run and play with the family’s other dog and lying in the sun. Their other dog chews anything in sight but Sasha is very good and has never chewed or destroyed anything that is within reach of her.
Sasha would do well in a quiet suburb with a good sized yard or in a rural environment with doggy companionship.
