Update 26/01: Angus has commenced his 2 week adoption trial with his hopefully forever family.
Angus is a divine boy, friendly, affectionate and obedient and he loves people and playing with other dogs. He does currently take exception to dominant, undesexed dogs but having only recently been desexed himself this may settle over time and with further socialisation. He spends most of his time outside but has been in the house without any accidents and does not mark anywhere inside.
He loves chasing his bucket or ball and is very interested in the sheep in the paddock next door but has not been tested on them nor with cats or children so these aspects of his temperament are not currently known.
If you are interested in Angus he is in foster care in Elmhurst, Vic presently but you can apply to adopt him by completing our online questionnaire.
His adoption fee of $300 covers his microchip, vaccination, heartworm test, worming and desexing.

Update 19/01: Java has commenced his 2 week trial with his adoptive family.
Update 7/1/12: This pup now named Java is in foster care in Melbourne and is a pretty spunky and very cool dude. We suspect he is mixed with a large breed dog like a Dane or something similar.
On this day the 20th December 2011 I found this pup to be a very outgoing exuberant very friendly fellow who just loves to play with toys, dogs or humans. Very puppy like behaviour
There was no sense of any aggression whatsoever There were no indications of dominance and is not dominant at all.

VOLUNTEER NOTES | What a delightful character we have on our hands!! Very polite but shy upon entering her kennel, she does duck her head a little when you go and put the lead on her. Take her outside (as fast as her little legs will carry her!) and she turns into one of the most happy and springboxy little chickens going! She is good to walk on lead, knows how to sit on command and doesn’t bark. But she loves her treats and her head / ear scratches! She was happy to bounce all over the place, showing me her happiness at being outside – there is plenty of life left in this girl! She also showed no issues whatsoever with any other dog – happy to say hello if they were, ignored those that weren’t. For all that she seems to err more on the side of being independent… so a quiet playmate would be nice, but if you want to make her your one and only she’d love that to. Size wise think english staffy. In very good condition and very worthy of your consideration. (AK 26/12)

The beautiful lil Gracie! Very hard to get a photo of as she will not still! She has no fear and is very active! Loves her foster sister and follows her everywhere! Already playing with the ball but doesnt know that she is suppose to bring it back instead she chews on it. Very very cute and loves a cuddle and is also very playful!

Magic is a friendly and sociable dog, gets on well with people and other dogs and is energetic without being manic. Still requiring some training in the basics he pulls on the lead a bit when walking but can sit on command and is very affectionate.
Magic is in foster care in the Toowomba region and is available to adopt.

Butch is friendly, sociable and oh so lovable. He loves his walks and gets on well with people, kids and other dogs. Butch needs a home without poultry and with secure fencing and as long as those needs are met and he gets plenty of exercise and love he will be a very happy boy and you will have a companion for life.

‘Tilly’ is a 5 month old Blue Cattle Dog X with a big personality! She is an absolute sweetie and in the short time that she has been in foster care she has really come out of her shell and proven to be a wonderful little dog. She is sharing her foster home with cats, older dogs, horses and a 15 month old toddler and is taking it all in her stride. She is very loyal already and is never far behind you! She loves kids, and will spend all day chasing a ball. She loves the water and swimming. True to her breed, she is a very intelligent pup and sits, drops and comes when she’s called. It won’t take much for this girl to be the best trained dog on the block! She is microchipped, and will be desexed and vaccinated next month. Tilly is currently located in Hervey Bay, QLD

Brandy is a sweet natured girl, friendly with people, cute and very playful and would love a family with children who can play with her to her hearts content. Brandy would do very well with someone who is able to devote time to training her as she still lacks some socialisation in regard to other dogs and doesn’t yet know how to interact with them well.
Brandy is currently in foster care in Melbourne and is looking for an adopter where her socialisation can continue and have she can have some time spent on her obedience and training.
